< Return to Firm News Ralph Mabey Recognized by American College of Bankruptcy
Ralph R. Mabey, of counsel to Stutman, Treister & Glatt, has been honored with the 2009 Distinguished Service Award by the American College of Bankruptcy for his work with complex restructuring and bankruptcy cases throughout the United States, including his service as examiner, trustee, arbitrator, mediator, and expert witness.
Ralph served as a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Utah (1979-1983); was appointed as a member of the Advisory Committee on Bankruptcy Rules of the Judicial Conference by Supreme Court Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist (1987-1993); is a professor at the University of Utah College of Law; and has written numerous articles on bankruptcy-related topics that have been published in notable academic and professional journals.
Ralph was inducted into the first class of the American College of Bankruptcy (1990), and has since served as Director, President, and Chair.
