  Mr. Arnold is a member of ST&G and was admitted to the California bar in 2007. He was born in San Diego, California and attended Harvard College, where he received his B.A. in Social Studies, magna cum laude, was elected Phi Beta Kappa and was awarded the John Harvard Scholarship. Mr. Arnold received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2007.  Mr. Arnold is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Mr. Arnold has represented clients in a variety of industries in both out-of-court workouts and restructurings as well as in chapter 11 proceedings and bankruptcy-related litigation.  Mr. Arnold's borrower/debtor assignments include representing a number of companies in out-of-court loan modifications and workouts and in the preparation for chapter 11 filings.  Mr. Arnold's creditor-side work includes representing secured creditors in a number of chapter 11 proceedings and advising significant debtholders in the CIT, General Growth Properties, Generation Brands, Inc., and Lehman Brothers chapter 11 cases.  He has also represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the Eurofresh, Inc. chapter 11 case. In addition, Mr. Arnold has represented the founding shareholders of Woodside Group, LLC in litigation and appeals related to the homebuilder's chapter 11 case and the founding shareholders of EZ Lube, LLC in connection with that chapter 11 case.  Mr. Arnold has also represented the court-appointed Examiner in the Extended Stay Hotels, Inc. chapter 11 case, the largest bankruptcy case for a hotel owner in U.S. history. 

Mr. Arnold has significant experience in structuring, negotiating and closing a wide variety of complex financial transactions including representing corporations in connection with recapitalization transactions and debt/equity investments, advising strategic buyers and private equity funds on the acquisition and disposition of portfolio companies and assets, and advising boards of directors in connection with significant transactions.
