Ms. Gans was admitted to the California bar in 2006. She was born in Toronto, Canada and began her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia. She then spent her junior year abroad at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and finished her degree in Toronto at York University where she received an honors B.A. in Religious Studies in 2001 and graduated cum laude. Ms. Gans received her J.D., cum laude, in 2005 from Fordham Law School where she served on the Fordham Urban Law Journal as the Associate Notes and Articles Editor. At Fordham, Ms. Gans was a Voldstad Family Merit Scholar and a member of the Dean’s List.
