Ms. Fineman is a member of ST&G. She was born in Odessa, Ukraine and attended the University of California at Los Angeles, where she received her B.A., magna cum laude, in 1993. She received her J.D. in 1997 from the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California. While in law school, she served as extern to the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt, U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, 1995.
Ms. Fineman has been involved in numerous bankruptcy cases where she represented debtors, including, significantly, Mariner Post-Acute Network and Mariner Health Group, Clark Retail Enterprises, Inc. and Clark Retail Group, Inc., Falcon Products, Inc, The Kushner Locke Company, and The Store of Knowledge. In addition, she has represented numerous individuals and business entities, both in and out-of court, in connection with restructurings and other business ventures.
Ms. Fineman has also represented landlords and tenants in all types of retail, office and industrial lease transactions, as well as commercial developers in connection with various aspects of shopping center development, including the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate.
